Teenager harassed in Leamington

A teenage girl was harassed by a stranger as she walked along a road in Leamington.

The 17-year-old was on Chesterton Drive near the Grist Mill pub on Friday (October 9) at about 3pm when a man pulled up alongside her in a black BMW.

He made lewd comments towards her and asked her to get in his car but she refused.

Another car then pulled up behind him and distracted him while the victim quickly crossed the road and walked down another road.

She then cut through a local park and when she reached the other side the driver was waiting for her and again began harassing her.

The victim walked away and although she was not hurt, she was left shaken by the incident.

The offender is described as in is late 40s, with black hair, slim build and had a slight Birmingham accent.
