Tennis players will serve up a treat at coffee morning
Warwick Tennis Club in Hampton Road will open to the public on Friday September 28 as part of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning annual fundraising event.
Lianne Candappa, a head coach at the club whose mother Wendy Supperstone survived breast cancer, knows what it is like to have a relative who needs the support the charity provides.

Hide AdShe said: “My mum was lucky to have family around her to support her but some people aren’t as fortunate so Macmillan is a great, great cause.
“We want some new faces to come down here to support the charity and to have a go at tennis.
“We get quite a women down here but it would be nice to see some men as well.”
The club will charge £4 for members and £5 for non-members to play an hour of tennis.

Hide AdCoffee and cakes made by members will be on sale afterwards.
So far more than 700 people in Warwickshire have signed up to take part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, with the events expected to generate £105,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan aims to raise around £10.7 million from the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning across the UK.
People can still sign up to hold a coffee morning.
