Trophy for Woodloes Primary School pupils’ marathon charity efforts
Woodloes Primary School pupils have been awarded with a trophy for their efforts in a marathon fundraising challenge.
Over the past four months all of the 370 pupils at the school have running around its sports field to raise more than £500 for the Kids Marathon charity.
And those who reached 26 miles joined children from other schools for an event at Edmondscote athletics track where they were presented with the Marathon Trophy for the overall distance covered by all pupils at Woodloes.
The group were also presented with caps, t-shirts and medals from the sponsors of Kids Marathon.
