Two days of entertainment and culture for second Art in the Park in Leamington

The event, described as ‘a platform to showcase the wide array of creative talent we have in Leamington, as well as providing an opportunity for artists of all disciplines to showcase and sell their work’. included 101 artists, dance, music and theatre.

Arts , crafts and performance workshops were held over the two days and their were performances by Motionhouse Dance Theatre Company, the Warwick Pauline Quirke Academy , Sambassadors of Groove, Sheep Dip Music, Kate and the Mooncats, Sugar Daddies, In2cultures, Being Frank Physical Dance Theatre Company, Annoshka, Shanade Morrow,Malarkie, The Titanics and more.

Carole Sleight, the event’s organiser, said: “This was our second Art in the Park event and it was a resounding success, in terms of artists participating, attendance numbers and art sales.

“It would not have been possible without the support of local businesses and organisations as well as the army of fantastic volunteers.

“So many people supported in kind or by offering activities.

“We have been inundated with so many positive comments, many can be seen on our Facebook page.”
