Update: services resumed at Warwick station

Chiltern Railways has confirmed that the southbound line is reopen following delays and cancellations due to the broken down freight train on Tuesday morning.

Services are running, though delays may be in place for the morning.

Tickets are no longer valid on other train services.

A spokesperson for the railway company said: “The line has now reopened following earlier disruption in Warwick area but with delays and possible cancellations.

”As we are now able to run trains on the Birmingham -to London line our tickets are no longer valid on other operators.”
