VIDEO: St Nics Park still underwater after floods

St Nicholas Park is still waterlogged after rising water levels at the River Avon caused chaos on the roads and streets earlier this week.

Despite more rain holding off, an Environment Agency warning was put out on Thursday that water levels in the town would be at their highest between 10pm that night, and 2am the following morning.

But a spokesperson described water levels in the town as dropping.

Floods caused chaos on roads through the week as routes were blocked and the A46 was partially closed to drivers because of standing water.

In Leamington, Jephson Gardens was closed on Thursday after high water levels overnight left much of the space underwater.
