Walk raises funds for Wii Fit technology for new Kenilworth care home

Former Royal Engineer Frank Wiseman was among those at a surprise welcome party for care workers from Warwickshire care charity WCS at the end of their six-mile fundraising walk between Kenilworth care home Woodside and the site of Castle Brook, which is due to open next year.

Frank also laid a brick at the site after the walk, which raised £300, to be doubled by construction firm Thomas Vale. The money will be used to pay for three Nintendo Wii U games consoles with Wii Fit software to be used at the new site for exercise classes.
