This is the first year the Sea Scouts have run a Christmas Post, and they said they were “quite overwhelmed by the response”.

Between November 27 and December 19, the Scouts set up 14 post boxes around the Warwick area, and sold over 1300 special Scouts Stamps. Warwick residents were then able to send any post with a ‘CV34’ postcode using one of these stamps by posting in one of the special green ‘Scout Postboxes’. The Scouts were then very busy collecting, sorting

and delivering the post in time for Christmas. E

very penny collected from Scout Stamps is being shared equally between Bethany’s Wish

and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, which each received £130.
