Warwickshire crews called to lorry fire on M40 motorway

CREWS from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue service were called to a lorry fire near junctions 11 and 12 of the M40 between Gaydon and Banbury this morning (Wednesday).

Three appliances from Warwickshire and one from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident at 3.26am

On arrival crews found one heavy good vehicles well alight.

Four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and one jet were used.

Scene safety was implemented.
