Vale is Myles ahead

Vale, who saw his fight at the previous week’s Cleary’s-organised show fall through at last minute, showed no signs of rustiness with a unanimous points decision over Eastside ABC’s M Urbanauicids.

Vale, the grandson of former Leamington middlewight Ronnie Vale, had his opponent on the canvas in both the first and second rounds.

Taylor, meanwhile, was in control of his fight against ABA novices finalist Ryan Ward (Cheshunt ABC) until a spot of showboating in the final round.

Taylor dropped his hands and was repeatedly picked off to allow the home boxer to get the decision from the judges.
