Folkard has to settle for silver at National Series Finals
Leamington’s Naomi Folkard claimed a silver medal as Britain’s top talent took centre stage at the Nottingham Building Society Archery GB National Series Finals at Wollaton Park in Nottingham.
The recurve archers kicked the competition off on Saturday in a series of head-to-head matches, with defending champion Amy Oliver overcoming Folkard 112-107 in a final spanning four sets.
Folkard, a member of the Leamington Spa Archery Club, said: “I’m really happy to have won the silver medal.

“The National Series Finals are a great opportunity to shoot head to head against the country’s top archers in front of live crowds, so it’s an important event in the UK calendar.”
