Leamington Hibs’ ladies stripped off to support Myton Hospice

LEAMINGTON Hibs FC’s ladies team have raised thousands of pounds for a good cause by getting their kit off for a charity calendar.

Team members posed in a ‘Calendar Girls’ style photo shoot, with football-related props covering their modesty, and the team raised £2,500 for Myton Hospice by selling copies of the calendar.

The team’s left back Sharon O’Brien had the idea for the calendar and persuaded other players to do their bit for the cause.

She said: “We all agreed the calendar should be in aid of Myton Hopsice as most of the team have a link to cancer through their family or friends and they know just how invaluable the service can be to patients and their carers.”
