Whitnash celebrations

Whitnash Town celebrated their Coventry Evening Telegraph Cup success and promotion to Division One of the Coventry Alliance at the club’s end-of-season awards.

Jamie Barr was voted players’ player of the season after an outstanding debut campaign with the club, while 21-year-old Ryan Harris, who is also in his first season at Acre Close, was crowned young player of the year.

Glenn Webb picked up the goal-scorer’s award after netting 23, with Jimmy Canning’s 25-yard effort against Christ The King in the final of the Telegraph Cup named goal of the season.

The manager’s player of the year accolade went to Tommy Friend.
