Harrison claims second in Norwich Half
Gale-force winds buffeted runners from every angle, while open countryside afforded no shelter whatsoever, with Harrison highlighting a one-mile uphill stretch into a strong headwind as being particularly brutal.
The women’s race turned out to be a battle between Harrison and three- times previous winner, England international Sarah Stradling.

The Colchester Harriers runner then pushed on again in the second half and, despite Harrison’s best efforts, was able to record her fourth race win in 79:44.
Harrison recorded 80:47 to take second place and 28th overall out of more than 2,200 finishers, with third-placed runner Alla Ouvarova more than ten minutes adrift.
Harrison, who is supported by The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club and Warwick Sports shop, said the harsh conditions were reflected in her time.
