Hat-trick of titles for Grove

Trinity School pupil Grove, who started in the sport little over three years ago, has taken the junior title every year since the series began in October 2009.

In the last two seasons he has successfully beaten the reigning world junior champion to win the Midland series, this year with the highest attainable overall score.

“I’m so pleased to have won this title three times running,” said Grove. “Now I have to concentrate and work even harder next year when I move up to the seniors ranks.”

Grove, who is a member of Kibworth HFT team, will be competing in both national competitions and the world championships later this year.
