The RFU in partnership with NatWest launched RugbyForce last year with the programme designed to welcome players, members and volunteers for a day of DIY to help renovate their club.

Sabin said: “It was great so see every section of the club lending a hand.

“Our club is a big part of the local community, hosting Rugby for Heroes and Warwick Touch for the 02touch League thoughout the summer.

“Days like these really do bring the whole club together.”

Sabin is not the only newly-elected member at Old Leamingtonians, with Tom Heslop taking over the first-team captaincy and Bradley James and Jamie Brown named second and third team skippers, respectively.

Pre-season training for the men’s section takes place on Tuesdays from 7pm.
