Spa players do favour for depleted opponents

A SPORTING gesture from Royal Leamington Spa ladies proved to be their downfall in their match at home to Blossomfield BC.

The visitors were unable to field nine players for the three-rink triples match so the Spa loaned them three of their own to make up the numbers and they played well as Leamington went down 42 to 54.

With the help of Leamington’s June Summer, Blossomfield’s P Gee (26-10) had success in the opening rink.
