Welsh ends a memorable year as second in the world
Eighteen-year-old Southam bodybuilder Ryan Welsh has capped a fine year with a runners-up spot at the Union Internationale de Body Building Naturel World Championship in Paris.
The achievement was even more impressive as Welsh, who trains at The Workout Mill in Leamington, was the youngest competitor in the junior men’s section.
Welsh was invited to be part of the Great Britain team in Paris by the Natural Physique Association after winning the Midlands under-21 category at Stratford and then going on to taste victory in October’s British Championship.
